...a nice muddy and cozy blend.  It has been unseasonably warm.  Winds were really howling, last night, with the rain beating down on the shingles.

Last of the Tall Ships

Over the last decade, photography has quickly excelled to become THE collectible, in art.  Maybe the digital age has something to do with it...there is nothing like the quality of film...just imagine the effort and knowledge it took, to produce these pieces.  Simply enthralled with the Tall Ship work of Alan Villiers - shot in the early 30's.  I was first drawn to the attention of them, by White and Wander.

Atlanta Finds

At Linda Horsley Antiques via Velvet & Linen.  I find that my classic taste is veering toward a more simplistic approach...a monochomatic scheme with some pops of color...this showroom is a definate must, for finding a few (or several) pieces.
